Meet our Executive Board!

What do we do?

Headmistress (President): The Headmistress runs every meeting, leads the Executive Board, and coordinates all the events of the club.

 

Deputy Headmistress (Vice President): The Deputy Headmistress is Second-in-Command; he or she makes the PowerPoint Presentation for each meeting and takes over for the President when they are not able to attend.

 

Junior Undersecretary to the Minister for Magic (Secretary): The Junior Undersecretary takes attendance, takes notes during eBoard meetings, and keeps track of House Points - a very important duty, as the House Cup brings the winning house eternal glory (at least, until the next year).

 

Professor of Arithmancy (Treasurer): The Professor of Arithmancy is in charge of all the funds of the club, and works with the Headmistress to allocate money to each event or activity.

 

 

Editor in Chief of the Daiy Prophet (Social Chair): The Editor in Chief is in charge of planning every ball and banquet throughout the year - from Deathday, to Yule Ball, to all the other events in between! They also create and/or edit this website!

 

Author of WizMug: A History (Historian): The author of WizMug: A History documents all of our lovely balls and banquets; he or she takes the photographs on display in our 'balls & banquets page,' in addition to creating a scrapbook at the end of the academic year.

 

Heads of House: Each head of house organizes activities for their respective houses. These can include movie nights, game nights, study sessions, house dinners, Oscar viewing parties - the opportunities are endless!

How do I become a member of the eBoard?

The executive board is elected at the end of each school year. Anyone and everyone in the club is welcome to run for a position! Every candidate for each position gives a short speech, and the rest of the club votes.
